Intimate Partner Violence in the Queer Community

  • Murmur 100 Broad Street Southwest Atlanta, GA, 30303 United States (map)

Southern Fried Queer Pride presents our first Southern Fried Forum of the year - Intimate Partner Violence in the Queer Community.

Far too often, intimate partner violence amongst queer and trans folks goes unaddressed. Many are unaware of or afraid to reach out to resources and help. SFQP intends for this event to be an intentional space for those who have or are currently experiencing intimate partner violence, their supporters, and those interested. This event will be led by professionals and will supply attendees with resources and contact with local groups and organizations dedicated to this cause.

Doors will open at 6PM with refreshments. The event will begin at 6:30PM. The event will take place at Murmur (100 Broad Street SW ATL, GA 30303).

Parking can be found on surrounding streets, lots, and garages. MARTA is two blocks north of Murmur.

**Southern Fried Queer Pride (SFQP) is dedicated towards creating spaces that are open and responsive to the needs of the communities we serve. We always intend to uplift and include the most marginalized voices. SFQP wants to maintain accountability for our actions and practices. Please email us at if you have comments, questions, and/or concerns.
