Fried Queer Pride 2018!

Wednesday, June 20th thru Sunday, June 24th at The Bakery!

We are happy to announce the Southern Fried Queer Pride 2018 Festival! In our fourth year of our Atlanta festival, we want to make a statement - that Southern queer art and community is here to stay despite the forces that aim to push us out: gentrification, political apathy, and community fatigue. This year's festival takes place Wednesday, June 20th thru Sunday, June 24th at The Bakery in the West End. It's 5 DAYS stuffed with deep fried events, ranging from workshops to dance parties, to thrift shops and the return of our film fest, Cinequeer! Check out how to get involved and submit via the links below.

Full Festival Line-Up

Southern Fried Queer Pride is a queer and trans, arts & advocacy organization and festival based in Atlanta, GA. Built on the backbones of the Stonewall Riots, MondoHomo, queer liberation, and the radical celebration of Southern queers, SFQP offers a platform for community artists, activists, and anyone and everyone to hold space!

SFQP is a community organized and funded event. All SFQP events have a suggested $5 to $20 sliding scale door cover, however, no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. All funds raised help keep SFQP going.

The Bakery Atlanta is located at 825 Warner Street SW Atlanta, GA 30310. It is near both West End and Oakland City MARTA Stations, and close to both I75 & I20. The venue has a ADA accessible ramp entrance, restrooms, and general layout. We aim to be as accessible as possible. If you have any accessibility request, email us at: contact@southernfriedqueerpride.com
