What does ableism look like in the queer community? How does it affect who has access to community? How can we better address and fix this issue?

You're invited to Outside the Margins: Ableism in the Queer Community, a Southern Fried Forum by disABILITY LINK and Southern Fried Queer Prideheld at the Georgia State University: The Multicultural Center on Thursday, April 22nd at 6:30PM. The event will be part panel and party open discussion. Food and drink will be provided.

The GSU Multicultural Center is located at 55 Gilmer Street SE Suite 206 Atlanta, GA 30303. Parking can be found on Gilmer Street, as well as GSU parking decks M, G, and others. The GSU MARTA Station is two blocks away.

To make this a fully accessible event, we ask a few things of attendees. The front row is reserved for those with hearing impairment. We ask that no one wear any fragrances. No flash photography/turn off phone flashlights. We will have a question box for those who might be shy. This event will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend in person.
